ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Physics has established in the year 2009 with Physics as an optional subject. Department has always placed emphasis on both teaching and co-curricular activities in order to motivate the students. Class tests, Assignments are given to the students to enhance their curricular performance. Study tours, visits, guest lectures, and seminar are few of the co-curricular activities organized by the department which certainly prepare the students to face the future challenges. Department has well qualified experience teachers. Teachers of the department participate and present research work in various International, National and State level conferences.

VISION

To establish a platform for dissemination and creation of knowledge through teaching and research in physical sciences at various levels and helping to create a scientific society that promotes logical thinking.

MISSION

Achieving excellence in quality teaching and research by attracting the best mindset and keeping pace with contemporary research in terms of infrastructure and facilities.

OBJECTIVES

Creating quality students for teaching and research.
To conduct high quality scientific research in a wide field of physical sciences.
Bring in external sponsored funds and to strengthen laboratory facilities.
Provide the students with currently modern technique in physical sciences.
To enhance the intellectual, computational, experimental, communication and analytical skills of the students.
Provide constructive feedback to enhance student’s self-assessment and motivation.

Building and maintaining strong departments in universities with opportunities for grants to support research.
Scholarships and fellowships for undergraduate students studying physical sciences.
Adequate funding for national laboratories and the formation of new ones as appropriate.
Funding and facilitating international activities and collaborations.

To visit at 33 kv substation wadwani taluka wadwani dist beed on 18^th April 2022 during academic year 2021-22.
